Kuppo is run by Kuppo. Questions or requests go to hello@heykuppo.com.
If you collect stamps at a venue
The venue decides what happens with your card and is the controller of your data. Kuppo processes it on the venue's behalf.
- What: your name, email, stamps, rewards and visit times, how you joined, and whether you agreed to offers.
- Why: to run your loyalty card and restore it if you switch phones. Offers on your card are only sent if you said yes, and you can turn them off on your card page.
- Wallet: if you add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, those companies handle it under their own terms. The venue's location is stored in the pass so your phone can show it nearby. Kuppo doesn't receive your location.
- Your rights: ask the venue, or us, to see, export or remove your data. Removing it ends your card.
If you run a venue on Kuppo
Kuppo is the controller of your account data.
- What: your email, name, password in hashed form or your Google or Apple login identifier, venue details, billing status and invoices.
- Why: to provide the service under our contract with you, to send service emails, and to meet tax and accounting duties.
- How long: until you delete your account, apart from invoices, which the law requires us to keep for seven years.
Who we share data with
- Hosting and database providers, within the EU where available
- An email provider, to send service emails
- Stripe, for payments
- Apple and Google, for Wallet passes and login, if used
We don't sell personal data and don't show ads.
Cookies
Kuppo only uses functional cookies: one keeps you logged in, one remembers which card your phone holds, and one remembers the dashboard layout. No tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
